Analyze Terms of Service
Review a Terms of Service document and produce a plain-language analysis
Requirements
Terms of Service, Terms & Conditions, or EULA to review (URL, uploaded file, or pasted text)
3
Analyze the Terms of Service using the systematic approach, focusing on what matters to users:
DOCUMENT IDENTIFICATION
- Service name, document type (ToS, EULA, etc.)
RED FLAG SCAN (Priority)
- Check for: broad content licenses, data selling, forced arbitration, no refunds
- Note section references
YELLOW FLAG CHECK
- Identify: auto-renewal traps, vague data sharing, content restrictions
GREEN FLAG CONFIRMATION
- Look for: clear data deletion, reasonable refund policy, account portability
KEY AREAS BREAKDOWN
- Data: What's collected, used, shared, deleted
- Content: What rights you grant over uploads
- Money: Billing, auto-renewal, refunds
- Rights: Dispute resolution, arbitration, class actions
5
Write the complete ToS analysis to Terms of Service Analysis Report following the output format. Use plain, accessible language - translate legalese into real-world impact. Include the key sections breakdown, all flags found, and specific clauses that matter.
6
Give the user the bottom line: the verdict, what they're really agreeing to in one sentence, and any top concerns. Ask if they want the full breakdown or have questions about specific terms.
To run this task you must have the following required information:
> Terms of Service, Terms & Conditions, or EULA to review (URL, uploaded file, or pasted text)
If you don't have all of this information, exit here and respond asking for any extra information you require, and instructions to run this task again with ALL required information.
---
You MUST use a todo list to complete these steps in order. Never move on to one step if you haven't completed the previous step. If you have multiple CONSECUTIVE read steps in a row, read them all at once (in parallel). Otherwise, do not read a file until you reach that step.
Add all steps to your todo list now and begin executing.
